Harold Bratovich earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Houston. He holds a Diploma in TEFL and has been a Trainer for the International TEFL Certificate program at Global Language Training. Mr. Bratovich worked as an English teacher in Houston Texas and worked in the ELT field in Latin America for over 20 years. He worked as a center director, regional manager and teacher trainer for ELS Language Centers, conducting continuous in-house teacher training programs. He has also conducted training in the USA, UK, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Ecuador. Mr. Bratovich is also a consultant for international schools in bilingual education. He is a current member of TESOL international organization. He has been a consultant for Cambridge University Press and other international publishers.


Tom Ottway earned his first degree from the University of Warwick, and Masters from the University of Leeds. He also is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (UK) and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in E-Learning Design. He has worked in education for over twenty years as a teacher/trainer (CELTA/ CLIL) in many countries including, Spain, Mexico, Australia, the UK, Syria, and the Yemen. He is an experienced presenter, writer and content producer, examiner, and consultant in ELT (English Language teaching), working with clients such as the British Council, OUP, Pearson, Richmond/ Santillana, and Trinity College London. As an author his best-selling course book is Elevator for Richmond Publishing, which has sold around the world. His expertise within ELT is in course design, assessment, and online content, for children, Young Adults, and Adults, including EAP (English for Academic Purposes). Tom Ottway is currently a doctoral researcher at the University of Sussex and an educational consultant.

James Bonilla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing from Florida International University and a teaching degree in TESOL, a TESOL diploma from the University of Wisconsin, several certifications in International Examinations from the University of Cambridge. Mr. Bonilla has held positions as English Literature Teacher at several Bilingual Schools, English Professor at different universities, Academic Coordinator, School Principal, Director of International Programs and Academic Director among others in the ELT field in Latin America during the last 23 years. He is also an academic consultant for governmental agencies, publishing houses and prestigious education institutions in Latin America.

Dave Procter graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA Joint Honours Degree in Geography and Spanish. He started his ELT career in 2006 with the British Council Language Assistant Scheme in Santiago, Chile and also worked with them in Cali, Colombia, both times at reputed higher education establishments. Mr. Procter holds a University of Cambridge CELTA certificate and has taught at English in Colombia, as well as at one of the UK´s most prestigious and highly regarded summer schools. He has written several articles for ´The Guardian´ and is currently based in Latin America where he teaches English Literature and Social Studies in a bilingual school.

Maxine Acosta earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in French, Spanish and English Literature from The University of Sydney, Australia. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Education specializing in ESL/EFL teaching methodology and is currently finishing an MBA. Ms. Acosta has worked in the field of ESL teaching and curriculum development in adult migrant programmes, correctional centers, language institutes, universities and high schools both in Australia and Latin America. She has been a TEFL trainer at various institutions and has worked in bilingual schools in many countries around the world as an English Literature teacher. She is also trained in the International Baccalaureate Programme in the Diploma and Middle Years Programme. She is an active participant in all activities related to ELT abroad.

Kenneth Bornhorst earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University. He holds a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a Certificate in Online Tutoring, and a Diploma in TEFL education. Kenneth has worked as a TEFL teacher trainer, EFL teacher, university professor in universities and language centers in both Central and South America since 1999. Kenneth is an active participant in ELT-related matters abroad.

Georgia Ferguson earned an MA in TEFL from Swansea University, Wales and a B.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She also has a certificate and a diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Georgia has been working as a Teacher Trainer and Academic Manager for the last 13 years in Canada, the U.K., Egypt, Spain, and Greece. She has also worked as an EFL/ESL teacher, both in private and government-funded schools. She is an experienced Cambridge ESOL and I.E.L.T.S. examiner and has worked for several years for the British Council in Athens, Greece.

Colin Jacobs is a graduate of East Ham College in London where he studied to become a telecommunications engineer. After working in England for several years as an engineer, he traveled to Latin America in 1982 to begin his teaching career. Mr. Jacobs has worked in prestigious international schools, language centers, and corporate clients. He holds a Diploma in TEFL and is an active participant in TEFL related matters. Mr. Jacobs is also an oral examiner for the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations.

Lionel Ferer graduated from the Royal Academy of Music London. He holds a CELTA certificate and a DELTA diploma and has been teaching English at all levels since 2000 at many language centers in England and Latin America. He has been assistant director of studies in different language centers abroad. He also has extensive experience teaching one-to-one, business English, and IELTS and is currently an IELTS speaking examiner. Lionel has also worked for the British Council giving CLIL training sessions and as a TKT teachers assessor.
